R. Garrison Mason's practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation and appellate law. He is licensed to practice in Florida and Ohio and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Mason is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he majored in English Literature, and Case Western Reserve University School of Law. At Dartmouth, he was a member of the Varsity Soccer team that was twice crowned Ivy League Champions. In law school, Mr. Mason earned Dean’s list honors and finished with concentrations in both International Law, with honors, and Business Organizations. He was a member for two years on the Vis International Moot Arbitration team and, subsequent to his graduation, coached the team for another year. Other notable achievements include submitting a paper to the Office of the Prosecutor for the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, winning the Cali Award for Excellence in International Real Estate Transactions, and spending the summer after his second year working at a large international firm in Shanghai.
After law school, he remained in the Cleveland, Ohio area where he worked for a small firm focusing on securities fraud arbitration and as a consultant to the general counsel’s office of a large hospital system. He moved to Florida and joined Keane, Reese, Vesely & Gerdes, P.A. in 2011.
